Boarding Policies
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Hours:
Sunday – Tuesday & Friday
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday & Thursday
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
While other times may be arranged, they are not guaranteed and must be by appointment only.
Vaccination Requirements: All pets must be up to date on vaccinations. Sick or unvaccinated pets are not permitted. While we strive to maintain a healthy environment, clients acknowledge that their pets may be exposed to communicable diseases while boarding.
Behavioral Requirements: All dogs must be non-aggressive and non-protective of food or toys. Owners are responsible for disclosing any history of aggressive behavior. The safety and health of all animals is our top priority.
Play and Injury Awareness: During normal play, pets may sustain minor injuries, such as scratches or punctures. While all play is monitored to minimize risks, owners acknowledge that injuries may occur despite our best supervision.
Constant Care Rate: If a pet requires constant supervision and cannot be left alone or separated for short periods of time (such as for individual feeding, brief transitions, or meet & greet appointments), a Constant Care rate will apply. This reflects the additional time and staffing required and the limited ability to serve other clients during that period.
House Sitting and Drop-In Visit Policies
House Sitting Services: Includes 10 hours or 12 hours of overnight care and one evening dinner visit. Additional drop-in visits can be arranged as needed, and walks may be included upon request.
Gated Communities: If you reside in a gated community, you are responsible for providing access information to the gate as required by community regulations. Delays due to lack of access information may result in modifications to service time.
Access Codes: Any entry codes required for your property must be provided at the time of scheduling.
Walking Policies: Pawfessional Pet Services staff will not engage with other dogs or people during walks.
Work in Home: Services cannot be performed if home repairs, or cleaning personal are performing services in your home that directly interferes with our care. Additionally, unobstructed access to entry points is required for safety.
Parking: A parking space in your driveway should be available to Pawfessional Pet Services for parking when visiting your home.
Medication Administration: If your pet requires medication, please provide a list of medications along with dosage instructions. All medications in pill form must be separated accordingly in a pill holder.
Updates and Communication
Clients will receive at least one update per drop-in visit or one update per day during boarding or house sitting services.
Veterinary Care Authorization
Pawfessional Pet Services is authorized to act as an agent for medical care if the owner or listed emergency contact cannot be reached. The owner is responsible for all veterinary costs incurred.
Payment Policies
Payments are due in full at the time of booking. Reservations are not guaranteed until payment is received. If payment is not made prior to service, payment is required at the start of service.
Cancellation Policies
Drop-In Visits:
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will forfeit the payment.
Cancellations made 48 hours to 5 days in advance will receive a 50% credit towards future bookings.
Cancellations made more than 5 days in advance will receive a 100% credit towards future bookings.
Boarding and House Sitting:
Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will forfeit the payment.
Cancellations made 8 to 14 days in advance will receive a 50% credit towards future bookings.
Cancellations made more than 15 days in advance will receive a 100% credit towards future bookings.
Holiday Cancellations: Cancellations made 14 days or less before a holiday booking will forfeit the payment.
Conduct and Safe Environment
Clients agree to provide a safe working environment for Pawfessional Pet Services staff. If any circumstances arise that pose a threat, services may be canceled immediately. Payment for services rendered will still be required.
